Chinese news paper ad 中国の新聞の広告

今年は中国マーケットも目指してと、現地中国の新聞会社の人に勧められて
新聞広告を出すことに。　しかし当たり前なのですが、電話は中国語でしか
かかってこなくて、英語で話してくださいと言うとガチャーン切られてしまう。
中にはカレンダーを送れとか言ってくる人もいて、今年は作らなかったと
言ったら、去年のでもいいとか。よくわからない電話が増えたのは確か。

Place on AD on Chinese local newspaper this year, and Chinese people call me in Chinese as I expected from
beginning. I told the local Chinese newspaper sales person that I cannot speak Chinese if people call me in Chinese.  She said many of them live here can speak English.  But people still calling me in Chinese, and if I ask them to speak in English, hung up.  Well someday I will learn how to speak in Chinese to communicate  future clients.

Happy beads workshop

月一回のビーズワークショップ。　別にエキスパートではないけれど、なんとなく皆が集まってメンバーも増えてきました。
　ビーズワークショップと言うのは口実で、一ヶ月一回集まって、おしゃべりに花を咲かそうと言うのが目的。　
　久しぶりにリングを作りました。　リングの部分が小さすぎて私の指には入りませんでした。　

My friends are looking forward to come to my beads workshop. I started to share my beading tips with my friends, and they really like making jewelries. More and more people want to join.
Making jewelries, having some sweet and of course lot of chatting. I made flower ring, but it was too small, it did not fit my finger.

After three months showing houses in Napa, finally my clients took decision and their offer was accepted. Yeah!!

It took time for several reasons-budget, location, conditions, availability, and reality. Everyone look for good deal,-good location, good condition, and lower price. I showed as many as houses I can, to educate first time buyers, and let them understand what the reality is.

And ask buyers to determine their wish lists and need lists of priority. I found a suitable home for my clients after they determine their priorities. I showed twice, and let them walk around the neighbors to make sure they feel conformable in the neighborhood.

Finally they said "YES" to the house. Escrow was opened today. Happy Napa life!!

ナパのハウスハンティングは約３ヶ月かかりましたがようやくお客様の気に入った家が見つかり、オファーが受理され、エスクローをオープンすることが出来ました。ホッ!!　

時間がかかるのは予算、ロケーション、家の状態、売り出し状況など様々な理由があり、なかなかいい物件にめぐり合えません。欲しいと思うものは大体同じですので、複数入札になります。

そんな中で、たくさん見てもらって自分の目で現実のマーケットを勉強してもらうようにしています。

大体２０軒近く見たら自分の基準をどこに置けばいいのかがわかってきます。　

過去３ヶ月はたいした物件が出回っていなかったのですが、、その中で写真が良くなかったのか最初の値付けが間違ったのか、とてもいい家なのに買い手がつかない家がありました。もう少し安くすればこの家族にぴったりだと思い、水面下で値段と条件を交渉し契約成立。

エスクローをオープンした後は、ナパのダウンタウンでウィンドーショッピング。　また忙しくなりそうです。

Happy Craft workshop for Japan earthquake fundraising

It has been almost one year since Tsunami/earthquake disaster. Tohoku areas have not recovered yet,

it takes about more than 10years with nuclear crisis.

People in Tohoku areas are still suffering mentally, economically, we cannot do much, but we try to get together to support them.

We are going to have 2nd year fundraising for Japan Tsunami/Earthquake victims.

Today, we had craft workshop, we help making Pot Holder designed by Yuriko. It is so cute to use as pot holder. I got one from her. I think I will hand on wall as decoration.

東北大地震からもうすぐ1年になります。　回復するのに10年以上かかると言われています。　ニュースもさめやすく関心が薄れてきている

かもしれませんが、私たちは忘れていません。また今年も募金のためにウォルナッツクリークの教会でファンドレイジングをします。

今日はファンドレイジングのためのクラフトWORKSHOP。百合子さんのデザインのポットホルダーが好評なので、作って出品することになりました。　私もおまけでいただいたのですが、使うのがもったいないぐらい可愛いのでこれは飾っておくことにします。

　私のビーズジュエリーの出品する予定ですので、当日お立ち寄りください。
